Merry Christmas Eve, my Friends

I hope today has been good to you. I hope you’ve laughed a little, rested some, and been present with the people God has placed around you. Days like this matter, even when they feel ordinary.

Tonight, I want to invite you to do something simple. When things quiet down, light a candle. Just one. Let it burn for an hour if you can.

Sit with it. Pray.

Pray for your family. For peace where there’s been tension. For joy where the year has been heavy. For hope where life feels uncertain. Pray for love to show up in real ways, and for kindness to win where it hasn’t always been easy.

And please, don’t forget the bigger picture. There is a lot of pain in this world. A lot of loneliness. A lot of people carrying more than they let on. Let that small flame remind you of them. Of us.

Tonight is about remembering why any of this matters at all.

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you. He is the Messiah, the Lord.” (Luke 2:11, NLT)

God chose to enter our mess as a child. Vulnerable. Humble. Close. He came into the darkness, not to avoid it, but to bring light into it.

This is my hope for you. That your Christmas would be more than busy or beautiful. That it would be meaningful. That somewhere in the middle of the noise, you would find a quiet moment with Christ.

From my heart to yours, I wish you a truly good Christmas.
